Roble has a decade of experience supporting clean energy development in Asia and the Pacific. He is the Regional Director for the I-REC Standard, and the founder of SuSca Group and Lock23. Through these roles, he supports governments, utilities, IPPs, Fortune 500 companies, and their supply chains to transact clean energy in challenging markets.
Roble has enabled hundreds of entities to source renewable electricity in line with the RE100, Science Based Targets initiative, and other major reporting frameworks. Currently, he is focused on helping governments to engage in EAC markets, and on making Scope 2 and 3 emissions reporting more transparent. His work with governments for the I-REC Standard Foundation seeks to ensure I-REC markets are globally trusted, aligned locally, and built to support deeper regional collaboration and integration. He has deep experience supporting utilities to structure REC market portfolio and management strategies, and has worked with more than 10 governments on designing and implementing REC market designs and roadmaps.
Prior to focusing on EAC markets, Roble helped structure more than $200 million in infrastructure projects for the Asia Development Bank and other development partners in the region. Overall, he is passionate about bridging public and private sector interests to support high-yield, low-carbon economic growth.
