Jung Bae KIM is Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Vice President at Hyosung Heavy Industries Corporation. He graduated with Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Hanyang University, Republic of Korea in 1989 and he was awarded Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Hanyang University, Korea in 1991 and Ph. D degree in Department of Energy Conversion Engineering from Kyushu University, Japan in 2000.

He has joined Hyosung heavy industries corporation since 1991 and he held responsible R&D center(HV GIS, MV GIS and Diagnosis system), Turnkey system and solution engineering for new business including ESS, STATCOM and HVDC. He was appointed as Hyosung’s CTO on January 2023 and he provides leadership to technology development, growth and direction of Hyosung Heavy Industries Corporation.
