Faisal Ariff is Sunway Group’s Chief Strategy Officer. Before Sunway, he founded an award-winning travel technology startup that dramatically reduced airport immigration queuing times and worked as an equity analyst and fund manager in London, Singapore, and Malaysia. He had stints with intergovernmental organisations headquartered in New York and Washington DC and volunteered for a humanitarian organisation for over two decades in conflict zones and environmental disaster areas.

Faisal studied Law at the University of Cambridge and Columbia University, where he was on a Fulbright scholarship. He clings on to his misguided belief that nuclear-powered ceiling fans can solve the climate crisis.
