Dr. Titiporn Sangpetch receives her BEng in Electrical Engineering at Prince of Songkhla University, THAILAND, in 1994; MEng in Engineering Management at the University of Colorado, Boulder, USA, in 1998; and PhD of Power Engineering in Energy Management, majoring in power systems planning at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK, in 2006, respectively.
Since graduating in 1994, she has been working with EGAT. During her early years, she serves as a power systems engineer at Transmission System Engineering Division and Power System Control and Operation Division. After PhD years in 2006, she has returned and moved to work at Power System Planning Division. In 2019, she is appointed Chief of New Power System Development Planning Department; lately in April 2021, she has appointed Chief of Power System Connection and Cooperation Planning Department. Her current work is centered on sustainable development by means of renewable energy and environmental management, distributed generation for grid connection and interconnection planning, and power system reliability assessment.
