Are Gløersen is the Director of Ocean Sun in Southeast Asia and Oceania and responsible for their efforts on existing pilots, projects, and business development.

Mr. Gløersen holds a MSc in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering and has over 20 years’ experience in solar PV, industrial automation, project and business management from Norway and Singapore with corresponding regions.

Ocean Sun is in the starting phase of commercial scale deployment of their patented floating solar technology after 6 years of development, piloting, and certifications for warranty issuance on the components of the solution. Ocean Sun has operated demo systems near shore in Norway and Singapore, off shore in China, and on hydro reservoirs in the typhoon belt in the Philippines and in Albania.
